Cathy Robinson is a Principal Research Scientist based at CSIRO and her research helps build scientific, Indigenous and local knowledge partnerships to respond to some of the biggest conservation, biosecurity and community risks facing Australia.

She is well known by many Northern Australian Indigenous and industry based communities.

Her work has had substantial scientific impact and she has led a range of projects in various Cooperative Research Centres (Reef and Rainforest Research Centre, the Tropical Savannas Cooperative Research Centre, the Desert Knowledge CRC and Plant Biosecurity CRC), and federal government research programs.
