Leonie Monks is a Research Scientist with the Western Australian Department of Parks and Wildlife, where her role is to plan, implement and monitor translocations of threatened plant species across Western Australia. Her research is focused on improving translocation techniques and refining translocation success criteria.

For NESP Project 4.3 Leonie will be taking on one of the PhD projects and will evaluate various aspects of already established plant translocations, with the aim of using the information to improve the likelihood of success in future plant translocations.
