Alexandra Bouma is a MSc (Conservation Biology) student from the School of Animal Biology at the University of Western Australia. She is currently conducting research on a trial assisted colonisation of the Critically Endangered western swamp turtle, as a direct response to the threat of climate change in the south west of Western Australia.
