What makes a viable reserve system to protect an ecosystem and its species? Professor David Lindenmayer of the Australian National University discusses how big a reserve should be when it comes to the mountain ash forests of the Victorian Central Highlands.

This Threatened Species Recovery Hub project is a collaboration between the Australian National University, Parks Victoria, the Victorian Government Department of Land, Water and Planning and WildMob, and is supported by the Australian Government's National Environmental Science Program.
