Birds, fire and logging in the Victorian Central Highlands

Mon, 27 Jul 2020

Forest birds can tell us a lot about the health of a forest. Professor David Lindenmayer of The Australian National University talks about what 35 years of monitoring in the Victorian Central Highlands can tell us about how bird communities are impacted by logging and burning.

This Threatened Species Recovery Hub project is a collaboration between the Australian National University, Parks Victoria, DELWP Gippsland and Wild Mob, and is supported by the Australian Government's National Environmental Science Program.
