									The threatened northern brushtailed phascogale (Phascogale pirata) is one of the least-known
mammals in Australia. While the few available records indicate a decline in its distribution and numbers, it has not previously been subject to targeted surveys. Consequently, there is little information available to assess population trends or conservation status.
