To determine how Australia’s animals and plants are faring over time, a dedicated team of researchers from the Threatened Species Recovery Hub worked with more than forty partners from all of Australia’s state and territory governments, major non-government, and not-for-profit conservation organisations such as BirdLife Australia, Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Bush Heritage Australia, and individual community members to develop the Australian Threatened Species Index.
