Steve Austin

Mr Steve Austin is a professional dog trainer certified with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), with a Certificate III Dog Behaviour and Training NDTF and Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services. He has been training dogs for over 30 years, including dogs for quarantine, search and rescue, police work, and wildlife preservation, among other roles. Steve trains scent detection dog handler and dog teams for conservation projects. He travels internationally lecturing and training dogs. In 2017, Steve trained the conservation scent detection dog for the Antechinus arktos research surveys that year.
