Michaela Plein

Researcher
The University of Queensland

Micha Plein is a quantitative conservation ecologist with a broad interest in species interactions. Currently, she works as a postdoctoral fellow for Eve McDonald-Madden at the University of Queensland. The NESP projects she is involved in aim to improve the status of threatened species in Australia.

Specifically, Micha looks at how we can incorporate interactions of species into ecosystems models to predict what happens to species communities when threatened species are introduced into existing communities or invasive species are removed from communities.
