Juanita Watters is the hub liaison officer for the National Environmental Science Program’s Threatened Species Recovery Hub at the Department of Environment
Juanita is dedicated to improving the links between research users within the department and the hub researchers, leadership team and support staff
in order to maximise the uptake and impact of the hub’s research.
Juanita has worked in research and research management for the past 15 years – including as a bushfire behaviour researcher with CSIRO, and a program
manager in programs such as Land and Water Australia’s Managing Climate Variability Program, the Plant Biosecurity CRC, the Environmental Stewardship
Program and the National Environmental Science Program.
