Javiera Olivares Rojas

Javiera is a PhD student at Monash University, working with Dr Jessica Walsh and Dr Carly Cook. Her research focuses on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of different decision support frameworks to manage and protect threatened species and threatened ecological communities. Javiera is interested in conservation management, more specifically prioritisation of management strategies, but also in ecological restoration, marine conservation, and how scientific knowledge can help make better decisions in the public sector, working towards sustainable development.
