Daniel Bohorquez Fandino

UWA

Daniel, who is originally from Bogota, Colombia, is a Masters student from the University of Western Australia (UWA) and member of the Ecological Restoration and Intervention Ecology (ERIE) group. His research at UWA, supervised by Professor Richard J. Hobbs and Dr. Leonie E. Valentine, focuses on the effect of quenda diggings in leaf litter decomposition and nutrient release back into the soil.

Daniel's research may be important to answering questions about how Australian ecosystem engineers affect ecosystem processes in urban reserves.
