Arthur Rylah Research Institute

Alan Robley began his research career investigating the impact of changed water flows and saline discharges into Murray River flood plain wetlands. His Ph.D. with CSIRO at Murdoch University in Western Australia, investigated the impact of introduced pest species on native mammals.

Alan's current role as a Senior Research Scientist is to undertake research on the impact of introduced vertebrate predators on native species and the ecological interactions that follow, using advanced statistical techniques to synthesise data, and prepare specialist reports and recommendations.

He also provides specialist advice to policy groups and the general community.
