Nick Leseberg

Nick Leseberg's focus for the next three years is trying to unravel the mysteries of the endangered and cryptic Night Parrot. After the discovery of a population in western Queensland in 2013, the first ever field research program into the species was commenced.

Using modern techniques to conduct a basic field ecology study, Nick will continue that work. The focus will be outputs which inform pastoralists, land managers and conservationists on how to best manage the species into the future.
